Fixed a Leica M3 that three other shops said was dead. Felt good.

You say "felt good" like it was some big deal. I mean, yeah, it's a nice camera and all, but "dead" from three shops doesn't sound that extreme. It's probably just some dried up grease and a stuck shutter curtain. Those old Leicas are tanks, they rarely truly die. Plus, unless you're restoring it for a collector, it's not like it's gonna have any huge resale value. I bet you just replaced a spring and cleaned some contacts.

Three shops turned it down and you're saying it's just dried grease? That's nuts. Shops around here will take on anything that's even halfway fixable, so if they all passed that sounds like something more serious.
