Why does nobody talk about using the same ziptie size for everything?

I hit 600 zipties last month across three desk setups and a TV mount, all in 8 inch black ones. Everyone posts these fancy velcro rolls and spiral wrap, but I swear a consistent ziptie size makes cable swaps way easier. You know exactly what fits behind a monitor or along a baseboard without guessing. Has anyone else standardized on one size, or am I the odd one out here?

Ha, I feel so called out right now! My entire existence is basically 8 inch black zipties and a prayer, plus about forty of them I've accidentally snipped too short and just left dangling behind my desk like sad little plastic worms. I actually bought a giant bag of velcro straps once, used two, and then lost the bag for six months, so that experiment was a total bust. The best part is when I move furniture and find a random ziptie that's been there for years, still holding something together that I forgot even needed holding. Keep preaching the one size gospel, honestly, it's the only thing keeping my cable chaos from becoming a full on nest situation.
