Velcro strips vs zip ties, I finally switched and my desk is happier
I spent months using zip ties on my PC setup because they looked so clean in photos, but every time I swapped a cable or added a new peripheral, I had to cut one off and start over. Last weekend I bought a roll of 3/4 inch velcro strips for like $8 and redid the whole mess behind my desk in about 20 minutes. Now when I need to move my monitor or plug in a new charger, it takes 5 seconds instead of digging for scissors. Has anyone else gone back and forth on this, or do you have a system that works better for frequent changes?

Did your friend ever try those little plastic cable clips that stick on? My buddy did the whole velcro thing after getting sick of cutting ties, but then he kept peeling the strips off by accident when he yanked a cable...
