Velcro strips from the hardware store saved my setup after a neighbor's tip
Last month my neighbor saw the mess behind my TV stand and swore by those cheap velcro cable ties from Lowe's. I had been using zip ties for years. Sure, they hold fine, but every time I swap a console or add a new HDMI cable, I have to cut them off and start over. The velcro ones cost me like $8 for a roll of 100. Now I can reroute everything in 10 minutes instead of an hour. He was right, and I'm annoyed I waited this long. Anyone else switch from permanent ties to reusable ones and never look back?

Whoa wait, you actually used zip ties for years knowing you had to cut them every time? That's wild to me. I did the same thing forever and just dealt with the mess, never even thinking about velcro. Once I finally switched, I felt so dumb for all those hours I wasted. Honestly, it’s one of those tiny things that makes such a difference you forget how you ever lived without it.
