Told a friend about my tangle-free desk setup and he pointed out I forgot to manage the power strip itself

He took one look behind my monitor, said "you zip-tied everything except the one thing that actually touches the wall," and now I hide my power strip behind a cheap raceway kit from Home Depot - has anyone else had a buddy call out an obvious blind spot like that?

The part about him saying "the one thing that actually touches the wall" is pretty funny, but come on. Is hiding a power strip behind a raceway kit really that big of a deal? I've got a power strip just sitting on the floor behind my desk, cables going everywhere, and the only person who's ever complained about it is my cat when she tries to chew on the wires. If your friend is critiquing your cable management down to the wall outlet, maybe he needs a hobby that isn't inspecting your furniture.
