My wife's one comment fixed my whole cable mess
I spent hours routing everything behind my desk in our new place in Austin, zip ties everywhere, felt proud. My wife walked by and said it looks like a bird's nest in a cage. That stung. She was right though, I was focused on hiding wires, not making them easy to trace or swap. So I tore it all down and started fresh with velcro strips instead of ties, and I labeled each end with a cheap label maker from Amazon. Took me about 3 hours on a Sunday, but now if a cable dies I can pull one out in under a minute. Anyone else get that kind of blunt feedback that actually improved their setup? What did they say?
