My velcro roll was a total waste, the adhesive strips won me over

I spent 2 years fighting with a big roll of velcro ties for my TV setup and they kept sliding off the bundle. Bought a pack of stick-on cable clips for $8 at Home Depot last month and the wires behind my desk finally stay put.

I saw a post from someone who works on home theater installs saying they only use velcro for keeping the wires together before they put the cable clips on. Made sense to me, velcro just moves around too much once you got a bunch of cables plugged in.
