Label maker confession from an AV installer in Austin

I was patching 24 network drops behind a conference room TV and he walked over, looked at my neatly bundled bundle, and said 'you know the label means nothing if the cable moves.' Then he showed me how he flags each end with a different color before pulling. Has anyone else switched to the color tag method over printed labels?

Uhh, the color tags still need labels once everything's punched down.
