I finally gave up on cable sleeves after 3 tries in my Austin office

Those braided sleeve kits look great in photos but they're a nightmare when you need to add one cable. I spent $45 on a 50 pack and fought with them for a weekend, then had to cut half of them off when I got a new monitor. The velcro wraps held up way better and I can reroute my desk setup in 5 minutes instead of 30. Has anyone else ditched the zip-on sleeves for something more forgiving?
