Friend told me my cable mess behind the TV looked like 'spaghetti monster'
They weren't wrong but it stung hearing it out loud, so I finally bought a pack of adhesive cable clips for $8 and routed everything along the table leg instead. Anyone else have a blunt comment that pushed them to tidy up?

Oh man, I feel this. Idk why but sometimes people's comments just hit different when they're too real. It's like there's this whole pattern in life where you know something's a mess but you just need one outside person to say it out loud before you actually do anything about it. I've had that with a messy kitchen counter for months until someone jokingly called it my "experiment station" and I finally caved and bought organizers. There's something about hearing your own junk described by someone else's joke that makes you see it fresh, you know?

Did you just start piling things into drawers or did you actually sort through everything first? I had to dump my whole counter into a box and only put back stuff I used weekly, the rest went in the basement.
