Finally saw why everyone hates those sticky cable clips
I spent an hour last weekend redoing my TV setup and noticed the landlord's old sticky cable clips were all peeling off the baseboard. They left this gross residue that took forever to clean with goo gone. Meanwhile the little screw-in nail clips I put up 2 years ago are still holding strong. Am I the only one who thinks those adhesive clips are just a temporary fix at best?

I tried using them once when I first moved into my apartment and they were a disaster. They peeled off within a week in the summer heat and left behind that nasty sticky stuff that collects dust and looks terrible. The screw-in nail clips are way better, they actually stay put and you don't have to mess with cleaning up glue later. Honestly think those adhesive clips are just meant for someone who needs a quick fix for a few days, not for any real setup.
