Wasted $250 on a fancy toner probe kit before switching back
Last month I dropped $250 on one of those flashy toner probes with all the digital bells and whistles. First job with it, the battery died after 2 hours and the screen was useless in direct sun. My old $35 basic probe that I thought was junk worked better, so I pulled it back out of my truck. The fancy one sits in my garage now, total loss except I learned to stop trusting marketing hype. Anyone else burned cash on a tool that the cheap version did just fine?
