Warning: Hit 500 drops in one week and my hands still feel like ice

Did 500 coax terminations last week alone and now my fingers are numb, anyone else's hands lock up after too many crimps in a row?

Man, that's rough. 500 coaxes is a lot of hand work in a week. Your fingers are probably just screaming from all that repetitive squeezing. Give em a few days off if you can.

Read something the other day about how repetitive hand stuff like that can actually cause nerve damage over time, not just soreness. It mentioned that the median nerve in your wrist can get compressed from constant squeezing motions, which is basically carpal tunnel waiting to happen. Makes me think those 500 coaxes aren't just a one-week problem if you keep doing that month after month. Might be worth looking into one of those ratcheting crimpers that does the work for you, even if they cost a bit more upfront. Your hands are your money makers in this trade, gotta protect em.
