Walked into a new build in Reno and every single drop was stapled to the stud face
I did a service call at a 22-unit complex off Wells Ave last Tuesday and found cable stapled tight to the front of the studs in every unit I opened up. That means every drywaller's screw is a coin flip away from a dead line, and I can't be the only guy who thinks builders should be paying us to notch and protect instead of just shooting staples. How many of you are actually charging extra for protection plates on rough-ins, or do you just eat it and hope the rock crew has good aim?
