TIL that cable ties in attics cause more problems than they solve
Everyone uses them to keep things tidy, but they just create a rat's nest for the next installer. I've started leaving lines loose and it saves so much time on service calls.

Used to think like emma_hayes80 until my attic got those tiny fiberglass bits everywhere from torn insulation. Took weeks to stop itching and the cleanup was awful. Now I see a messy attic as just hiding problems you'll have to deal with later.
