Swore I'd never use a glow rod, then a crawlspace in Tulsa changed my mind

Been pulling cable by hand for 11 years and always figured glow rods were for guys who couldn't feel a path. Then a 1,400 sq ft attic run in Tulsa last Tuesday ate 3 hours of my day, and the homeowner's kid handed me his dad's 6 ft rod, which had that run done in 20 minutes. What's your go-to for tight attic work where you can't see more than 2 feet ahead?
