Switched to compression fittings after a flooded basement in Scranton

I used to think twist-on connectors were fine until a homeowner showed me the water damage from a loose connection behind their wall last Tuesday, has anyone else had better luck with compression over crimp for outdoor runs?

Oh man compression is the way to go for outdoor stuff, the gaskets are way tougher against weather than crimp rings that can corrode over time.

1980s compression fittings still seal fine in my shed while crimp rings rusted out, @rowangonzalez.
