Switched from push-on connectors to compression fittings after a bad service call

Had a customer last Tuesday who was losing signal on three rooms. The push-on connectors I used six months ago were all corroded at the copper. Spent two hours re-doing everything. Took the extra cash for compression tool and fittings from my next job. First job with them was zero callbacks. Anyone else have better luck with compression over push on?

Man I feel your pain. Did the exact same thing last year after a call where I had to reterminate an entire whole home amp setup because the push ons just fell apart after a few months. Compression has been night and day for me, no callbacks yet and they feel way more solid.

Yeah nothing like spending your afternoon redoing work you already did for free... guess that's the push-on tax we all gotta pay eventually.
