Shoutout to the old coax crimpers I should have tossed years ago
I was finishing a job in a tight attic last month and my old crimper slipped, ruining a connector. I had to climb down, drive to the supply house, and buy a new pack. That little mistake cost me an extra hour and about $15 in parts and gas. I should have replaced that worn-out tool a long time ago. Anyone have a favorite brand for crimpers that last?

Wait, you really climbed all the way back down and drove just for one connector? That's like paying a toll for a road you already paved. I swear that old worn-out tool was just waiting for the worst possible moment to betray me too. Maybe it was my own fault for not springing for a new one after the first few times it slipped. evah40 is right about Klein though, I picked up one last year and it's been solid. At least you got a new pack out of it, but man that wasted hour still stings lol.

Wait, you drove all the way to the supply house for just one connector? I would have been digging through my truck for ten minutes hoping to find a spare in the bottom of a tool bag. That drive is the worst part, it turns a tiny fix into a whole trip.
