Hit 500 cable terminations today without a single fail
Started counting a few months back just for fun. Every coax and ethernet end I did, I kept a tally. Today I finished a job at a house on Maple Street and hit 500 total. No shorts, no bad crimps, no callbacks. Feels good to know the practice is paying off. How many terminations did you do before you felt solid?

Wait, do you think there's a bigger pattern here with how people get good at anything? Tbh I've noticed that most folks give up on stuff way too early because they don't track their little wins. Like, if you just keep going and count your progress, even the boring stuff turns into proof you're not wasting your time. I've seen this with guys learning guitar or even just trying to cook more at home. They stop before they hit that 500 mark because they don't see the small improvements. But you kept a tally and now you're solid. That's the whole secret honestly. It's not talent, it's just refusing to stop counting.

You tracked your progress with guitar? I did the same thing with running. Kept a simple tally of miles each week, nothing fancy. That little habit made all the difference when I wanted to quit.
