Hit 1,000 feet of fiber pulled in a single shift last Tuesday

I've been running cable for about 8 years now and never really kept track of my daily totals. Last Tuesday I had a big commercial job downtown and decided to log every run. By the end of the day I had pulled 1,028 feet of single-mode fiber through overhead trays and conduit. That felt like a lot of cable for one guy. Has anyone else actually measured what they can do in a day?

Tripped over my own feet three times getting there though.

and if you think about it, that 1,028 feet is actually pretty insane for a solo pull. i've seen guys brag about 800 feet in a day but never heard someone hit four digits before. what kind of conduit were you running through? i did a hospital job once where we had to snake through existing ceiling trays and it took forever just to get 200 feet done because of all the bends and existing cables in the way. you must have had a pretty clean path to get that kind of number lol
