Had a homeowner tell me my cable ties were too tight and causing signal issues, so I switched to velcro straps
After he showed me the kinked coax from a previous install I did 6 months ago, I tested his theory and found the zip ties were crushing the RG6 just enough to drop 15 MHz of signal, and now I use velcro on every interior run.

Did you notice any signal loss before he told you?

Wait have you ever gone back and checked your own work months later? I used to think zip ties were fine as long as you didn't go crazy tight, but after seeing a kinked cable from my own install I totally changed my mind. Velcro is just way safer for interior stuff where you might need to move things around later. I was stubborn about it for a while but now I don't even keep zip ties in my van for cable management anymore.
