Tried a 1/4 inch spacer block for drawer fronts and it worked way better than eyeballing

Kept getting uneven gaps across a run of 6 drawers in a maple vanity, so I cut a scrap block to 1/4 inch and clamped it between each front as I screwed them in. Took me two minutes per drawer and the reveals came out dead even, has anyone else got a dumb simple jig like this they swear by?
