Switched to Blum soft-close slides 5 years back and now I can't stand working on cabinets without them
Went from a shop that used old epoxy slides to a place that only uses Blum Tandem slides, and the difference in how the drawers feel and hold up after even 6 months is night and day, has anyone else had that moment where a single hardware change made you rethink your whole build process?

We switched to the Blum Tandem slides about four years ago and it completely changed how I build drawer boxes now. If you haven't already, try their clip-on mounting brackets for the drawer sides - saves a ton of time on install and keeps everything square.

Stick with those clip-on brackets once you try them, riverknight - it's one of those small changes that just makes everything flow better. Same deal with how I started keeping my work truck organized differently years ago, it's the little adjustments that save the most frustration down the line. Once you find a system that clicks, you wonder why you didn't do it sooner.
