PSA: My maple drawer box glue-up warped overnight
I built a set of drawer boxes from 1/2 inch maple ply, glued and nailed the corners. The shop was about 65 degrees and I used Titebond III. Woke up this morning and every single box had a noticeable bow across the front panel. I think the plywood core was holding moisture that released unevenly against the glue line. Has anyone else had plywood move like this right after assembly? What's your go-to method to stop it?

Did you let the plywood acclimate in your shop first?

Honestly used to skip that step all the time. Figured it came from a warehouse, so it was fine. Had a big cabinet project go really wrong last year, though. The doors just wouldn't fit right after a couple weeks. Now I always let it sit in the shop for at least a few days before cutting anything. Makes a huge difference.
