Pro tip: That maple veneer edge banding took me 3 tries to get right

Was trimming a curved shelf for a kitchen reno in Portland and the iron-on banding kept peeling at the tight radius. Spent a full afternoon fighting with it until a buddy told me to hit it with a heat gun first, then clamp it for 10 minutes. Lesson learned the hard way - anyone else had trouble with banding on curved edges?

Heat gun and clamp, that's a solid tip. That curve peeling drove me nuts on a similar project, glad you figured it out.

Did I clamp it backwards twice before figuring that out? Maybe.
