I dismissed Blum undermount slides as overpriced for 5 years till a job in Nashville proved me dead wrong.

Had a kitchen remodel where cheap side-mounts kept jamming on me and the client insisted on upgrading to Blum soft-close, and after installing them I saw they handled the heavy drawers full of cast iron cookware without a single hiccup compared to the old ones that sagged after 6 months, anyone else have a brand or component they wrote off until a specific job changed their mind?

Handled the heavy drawers full of cast iron cookware" is the kicker for me, that's where cheap hardware always folds. Once you feel how smooth those Blums stay after a year of abuse, it's hard to go back to the stuff that feels gritty after a week.

@anthony_wells my garage drawer still squeaks like a dying mouse, but at least it matches my car.
