My IT guy in Baltimore pushed us to keep the old coax setup, and now I am wondering if he was right
Back in March our office in Baltimore was having dropouts every afternoon, and our IT guy said to skip the fiber upgrade and just get a second cable line for $89 a month, so we did that instead. Six months later the dropouts are gone and we are saving about $300 a month, but I keep hearing fiber is the only real answer for a business our size. Was he right that coax plus a backup line beats paying for fiber, or are we just lucky so far?
