ISP rep in Cleveland told me my 'dedicated line' was shared with 14 other suites, so I pulled the contract
Last month our whole office in Cleveland went down for two hours and the rep kept saying it was an outage on my end, not theirs. I finally pulled the contract and the fine print said dedicated only meant a set speed, not a private line, and it was split across the building. Got three other quotes and switched to a smaller local provider with a real written uptime promise. Anyone else get burned by the word dedicated like that?
