Used to skip monthly spreads, now I swear by them
I tried a simple two-page monthly layout last week after avoiding them for a year, and it actually kept me on track with deadlines. Anyone else find monthly spreads more useful than they expected?

Right, because who doesn't love spending an hour making a pretty grid just to ignore it by day three? Glad yours is working out though.

Read something the other day about how monthly spreads work because they give you a bird's eye view without the pressure of daily tasks. That clicked for me because my problem was making these elaborate daily layouts that felt like homework. The monthly format forces me to focus on the big stuff like deadlines and appointments instead of getting lost in tiny to-do items. My version is just a simple calendar with deadlines circled and a notes column on the right side. No fancy decorations or color coding. Just the basics.
