My weekly spread looked like a mess, so I tried a single pen for everything.

I grabbed a black 0.5mm Micron and used it for my headers, tasks, and even my little doodles. I thought it would look boring, but after three days, my page felt way cleaner and I got more done. It made me focus on the words instead of which color to pick next. Has anyone else tried sticking to just one pen and had it work out?

Ever try a red pen for urgent tasks only?

Totally did this with a blue ballpoint from my glovebox last month. Forced me to actually cross things off instead of just rewriting them in a nicer color. The lack of options cut my planning time in half. Ever try it with a pencil for that erasable feel?

Grabbed a mechanical pencil from the junk drawer after reading this and it's a game changer. I can erase the little scribbles when I reorganize tasks later but the hard commits stay put. The trick is getting that soft lead so it doesn't leave grooves in the paper. You notice a difference in how firm you press?
