My tracker columns were useless until my wife said one thing
I kept making these elaborate habit grids with 12 colors and icons, but I never actually looked back at them. My wife asked why I was spending 15 minutes a day decorating instead of 5 minutes planning. Dropped all the color coding and now I just use a checkmark or an X, and I actually stick with it. Anyone else simplify their layouts after someone called them out?
Fifteen minutes just decorating a grid? That's wild to me. I used to do something similar with color coded borders on every single habit and would spend half my morning just picking the perfect shade for "read 10 pages." My girlfriend hit me with "it looks like a preschool art project" and I switched to plain dots and it honestly changed everything.
