My notebook finally gave out after 8 years of daily use

I had this Leuchtturm1917 that I started in 2016 and I used it every single day for nearly a decade. The spine cracked about 3 years ago but I kept patching it with tape until this morning when pages started falling out in chunks. I tried to salvage the remaining blank pages but the binding was completely shot. I ended up ordering a new A5 dotted notebook from a different brand to see if I like something else. Has anyone else had a favorite notebook die on them after years of faithful service?

Ah man, that's a tough loss. I know exactly how that feels.

Yeah because nothing says "great day" like watching your team snatch defeat from the jaws of victory... I swear they must practice finding new ways to lose. That last minute collapse was almost impressive in its own special way.
