My cousin said my habit tracker was 'stressful to look at' and now I can't unsee it
I had a super detailed one with 12 different daily habits, each with its own tiny icon and color code. She glanced at my open journal and said it felt like a report card, not a helpful tool. Has anyone else simplified their trackers after getting feedback like that?

My bullet journal now just tracks three key habits, and that feels way more manageable.

My buddy tried tracking like ten things in his planner and got totally burned out. He saw a post from @richard_ramirez about keeping it simple and cut his list down to just making his bed, drinking water, and a daily walk. Said it completely changed the game for him, he's actually kept it up for months now. Focusing on a few key habits seems to make them stick way better. He doesn't feel guilty anymore for missing a bunch of small tasks. That focus really works.
