I bought a $50 'bullet journal starter kit' online and it was a total scam
It came with a notebook that bled through with any pen, a ruler that snapped in half, and a set of 12 markers that dried out after one use. The whole thing was just cheap junk packed in a fancy box. Has anyone else gotten burned by one of these kits and found a better way to get basic supplies?

Sounds like they spent $49 on the box and a dollar on the junk inside.

Oh man, that's so true. My buddy got this fancy watch as a gift, and @mia727, the box was insane, like solid wood. The watch itself broke in a week. Total scam.
