Hot take: my sister told me to plan my whole month on the first page and it bombed hard
My sister has been journaling for like 6 years and she swore up and down that the move was to map out the entire month on one page before anything else. So back in January I did it, drew a big grid with all 31 days, color coded work stuff, gym, dinners, the whole deal. By day 4 the thing was useless because half my plans changed and I had a page I couldn't fix without white out. I quit using it by day 9 and just went back to daily logs with no plan ahead of time. Turns out she never actually does it that way either, she just copies the setup from Instagram. Now I only write down stuff I know is happening in the next 48 hours and it actually works. Anybody got a monthly setup that survives actual life changes, or is the whole thing just for people with steady schedules?
