Dropped $45 on a 5 pack of fineliners and 4 of them are already dead

Bought a set of fineliners for my bujo last month from a store in Portland. $45 for 5 pens. That is $9 a pen if you do the math. Two of them started skipping by week two. The other two just dried up completely and I barely used them. I have been journaling for 3 years and never had pens die this fast. My old $12 pack from the grocery store lasted 8 months. What pens are you all using that actually survive daily spreads?
