Realized I was spending $120 a year on streaming I never watched

Went through my bank statements from January and canceled three services I hadn't opened in 4 months, has anyone else found subscriptions they forgot about?

Wait, you mean my 'free trial' of that one app I signed up for in 2019 isn't still free? Oops.

Oh man, I read something just last week about how those free trials auto-renew and people end up paying for years without noticing. It's crazy how they make it easy to sign up but hard to cancel. I've been burned by that before too, now I set a reminder on my phone to check.

Not sure it's totally on the app though. We're the ones who agree to the terms and then ignore the email reminders.
