Picked the generic store brand over name plate dishwasher pods last month

I spent $4.50 on the store brand versus $11 for Cascade and honestly my dishes came out just as clean after 30 loads. Has anyone else found a swap that actually worked better than you expected?

Ha! I tried the same thing with trash bags. Got the cheap ones and now I'm doing the walk of shame to the dumpster with a bag that's leaking mystery juice on my leg.

3AM last Tuesday I'm standing in my driveway with a split bag dripping who knows what on my slippers. Guess that's what I get for saving 3 bucks on garbage bags, right?
