Passed $10k in my emergency fund this month and it felt surreal

I remember 5 years ago having like $200 to my name after rent and stressing over every little thing. Hitting this number means I could actually handle a real crisis now without panic. Did anyone else feel weirdly emotional when they crossed a specific savings goal?

$5k was my target for years, but when I actually hit $10k last year it hit me different. Used to think a big savings number was just math, now I get why people say it changes how you sleep at night.
