Overheard a guy at the coffee shop say he saved $400 a month just by meal prepping on Sundays

I was grabbing a latte in Austin last Tuesday and this guy was telling his friend how he went from spending $600 a month on takeout to $200 by batch cooking. It hit me that I probably waste like $150 a month on impulse lunch runs alone because I'm too lazy to pack anything. Has anyone tried a specific meal prep plan that actually sticks for a busy work week?

Wow, impulse guac charge? That's a whole new level of avocado commitment I haven't reached yet. I mean, I love guac but $400 could buy a whole lot of tortilla chips and limes to go with it, you know? Must be some seriously amazing guacamole if it's eating your whole paycheck like that.
