Grocery store cashier made a comment about my reusable bags that stuck with me for days
She said "bet you've saved hundreds by now" and I actually did the math later and it was $380 over 3 years from the 10 cent bag credits, how often do we miss the small wins that add up like that?

My friend did something similar with her coffee shop rewards. She kept using the same reusable cup for like 2 years and when she checked her app, she had saved around $175 just from the small discount each time. It's wild how those little 10 cent things sneak up on you without really noticing. Makes you wonder what else adds up like that.

Yeah but that 10 cents is before tax, so it's more like 8 cents really.
