Found a $7 spreadsheet that replaced my $60 budgeting app
Last month I walked into a Staples in Des Moines just to grab printer paper and ended up staring at the clearance rack. There was this old-school paper budget planner with actual columns and envelopes, marked down to $7 because nobody buys paper planners anymore. I figured why not, took it home, and now I track every grocery run and gas fill-up on paper instead of that subscription app I kept forgetting to cancel. The weird thing is I actually stick with it because writing stuff down makes me think twice before buying dumb stuff. Anyone else ditch a digital tool for something physical and save money that way?
