Finally ditched my $150/month gym after realizing I was only using it for the showers

I was paying for a fancier gym than I needed just so I could shower after my early morning delivery shifts, but when I tallied up the $1,800 I spent last year I switched to a cheap planet fitness for $10 a month and started showering at home instead - has anyone else found a sneaky expense they were overpaying for convenience?
