Vent: my $40 grocery run beat my $120 one and I am still mad about it
I fed my family of four for a full week on $38 at the Aldi on 5th, mostly rice, eggs, frozen veg, and a whole chicken I stretched into three meals, while my usual $120 trip to the fancy store down the road barely lasted four days. Am I the only one who thinks the 'buy quality, spend more' advice is just wrong for normal weeknight cooking?
