Tried those dollar store spice packets after swearing them off for years

I used to think cheap spice blends were just salt and sadness. But last month my budget got tight after a car repair in Austin, so I grabbed three taco seasoning packets for a buck each. Made chicken tacos with them and honestly they were pretty solid. The flavor wasn't as complex as the $4 brand I usually buy, but my family didn't complain. I'm still skeptical about their chili powder though. Has anyone found a dollar store seasoning that actually holds up for soups or stews?

Their garlic powder is actually solid for stews, no joke.
