My neighbor's grocery trick hit different last Tuesday
I was chatting with Mrs. Alvarez from unit 4B about her weekly shop. She told me she only buys meat that's marked down 30% or more, then freezes it that same night. She feeds a family of five on about $75 a week in Phoenix. I always skipped those stickers thinking it was old stuff, but she showed me the sell-by dates are usually still 2 days out. Has anyone else tried this and actually saved real money?
