My mother in law said frozen veggies beat fresh and she was right
She always told me to keep a bag of frozen mixed vegetables around for cheap meals, but I thought fresh was always better and cheaper if you shopped sales. Last month I tried her trick with a $1.29 bag of frozen peas and carrots in a pasta dish, and honestly it tasted just as good and took way less time. Now I'm wondering if I've been wasting money on fresh stuff that goes bad in 3 days. Has anyone else switched sides on this argument?
