My grocery bill hit 75 bucks last week for one person, had to change something
I was just grabbing my usual stuff, nothing fancy. Rice, beans, some chicken, and a few veggies. The total came to 74.86 and I almost choked. That's up from like 50 bucks just a year ago. I started checking every unit price and swapping store brands. Has anyone else had their typical haul jump that much?

75 bucks for one person is insane. Same thing happened to me last week. My usual pasta, sauce, and ground beef used to be 45. Now its 62. Even Aldi prices went up.

Bull on that, honestly. Prices are going up but $75 for one person is a choice, not a necessity. You can still feed yourself for way less if you swap out the name brand stuff and buy in bulk. Ground beef is the issue, try mixing in lentils or going half ground turkey. Pasta and sauce are always cheap if you don't get the fancy stuff. Aldi's prices went up but their store brand stuff is still less than what you paid before. Sounds like you're not shopping smart, just grabbing the same stuff from the same aisles.
