My cheap meal game changed after a neighbor in apartment 4B showed me their rice cooker trick

I used to just boil rice plain, but now I throw in a bouillon cube and a handful of frozen veggies right at the start, which makes a whole meal base for under a dollar. Anyone have other simple add-ins that don't cost much?
